Terms of Service
Last updated: May 7, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of turnappliance.com and the appliance repair services provided by Turn Appliance Repair ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the website or booking a service, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, please do not use the site or book a service.
1. Services
We provide residential and light-commercial appliance repair, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, ranges, cooktops, dishwashers, microwaves, and wine coolers, in Burbank and Greater Los Angeles, CA, and Las Vegas, NV. Service availability and response times are estimates and may change due to demand, parts availability, traffic, or weather.
2. Booking and Estimates
Estimates given over the phone, by text, or through our website are non-binding and based on the information you provide. A final, written estimate is given on-site after diagnosis. Booking a service does not guarantee a repair until the technician has inspected the appliance.
3. Diagnostic Fee
Our standard diagnostic fee is $89. It covers a full inspection and a written estimate. If you approve the repair on the same visit, the diagnostic fee is waived and you only pay for the work performed. The fee applies regardless of whether the appliance is repairable.
4. Pricing and Payment
Repair pricing is flat-rate and disclosed in writing before work begins. Payment is due upon completion of the repair. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other electronic payment methods. Returned-payment fees and reasonable collection costs may be charged for unpaid balances.
5. Warranty
We provide a 90-day warranty on labor and a manufacturer's warranty on parts (typically 90 days to 1 year, depending on the part). The warranty covers the specific repair performed and does not cover unrelated failures, pre-existing conditions, misuse, accidents, power surges, or appliances over 15 years old. Warranty claims must be reported promptly.
6. Cancellations and No-Shows
Please give us at least 2 hours' notice if you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment. Repeated no-shows or last-minute cancellations may result in a trip-charge equal to the diagnostic fee on future bookings.
7. Customer Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate contact, address, and appliance information
- Ensure an adult (18+) is present during the service visit
- Provide safe access to the appliance and a safe working environment for our technician
- Disclose known issues, prior repairs, or modifications to the appliance
8. Limitations of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to a repair is limited to the amount you paid for that repair. We are not liable for incidental, consequential, indirect, or punitive damages, including loss of food in a refrigerator, water damage from a washer or dishwasher, or business interruption, except where required by applicable law.
9. Parts
We use OEM (original equipment manufacturer) parts whenever practical. If an OEM part is unavailable, we may install a high-quality compatible part with your prior approval. Replaced parts become our property unless you specifically request to keep them at the time of service.
10. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, and images — is the property of Turn Appliance Repair or its licensors and is protected by U.S. and international copyright and trademark laws. 11. Reviews and Communications
By submitting a review, photo, or testimonial, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, and display it in our marketing materials. By providing your phone number or email, you agree we may contact you about your service request, including via SMS and email; standard message and data rates may apply.
12. Privacy
Use of the site and our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the site or our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any disputes will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
